Sogn & Fjordane Executive County Council Visits Gjøa (Norway)

UK's Subsea Firms Expect Significant Growth 2013

On Tuesday 5 February the Executive County Council of Sogn & Fjordane, NPD and local journalists visited Gjøa platform .

On board Gjøa they all received a briefing on GDF SUEZ, the Company’s history in Norway, present and future activities, and not least on the ambitions in the Gjøa area. The Offshore Installation Managers, Per Langhaug and Arild Jåsund, presented the platform and talked about life on board, before the guests got a sightseeing around Gjøa – both inside and outdoors.

Delegation

The County Mayor presented the Offshore Installation Managers with a plaque.

“The politicians were satisfied with the chance to get a glimpse of the industry up close, and stated that they would be very positive to a revisit some time in the future,” said the oil company in a press release.
