Swiber shuffles directors, names new CEO

Swiber Holdings, an integrated construction and support services provider to the offshore oil and gas industry, has named Yeo Chee Neng as the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

According to Swiber’s statement on Monday, Yeo Chee Neng succeeds Francis Wong Chin Sing as the latter was re-designated to the role of the Vice Chairman of the company.

All changes are effective from June 20, 2016.

Yeo Chee Neng, also known as Darren Yeo, was previously the Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer of the company.

Yeo is also a Non-Executive Vice Chairman and former CEO at Vallianz Holdings, a provider of offshore support vessels and integrated offshore marine solutions to the oil and gas industry.

He graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Engineering degree and holds a diploma in Marketing from the Singapore Institute of Management.
