Total hires DOF’s anchor handler in Argentina

Offshore vessel owner DOF has been a awarded a contract for one of its anchor handlers from Total Austral in Argentina. 

DOF said on Thursday that the contract is for the vessel Skandi Pacific for a 3 years firm plus 2 years options.

The contract for the 2011-built vessel will start in the second quarter of 2017.

The vessel previously worked with Total Austral in Argentina under a nine-month firm contract awarded in August 2015.

The Skandi Pacific is an anchor handling tug and supply vessel of a STX AH 08 design. It is a high powered vessel designed for field installation operations across a range of water depths and environmental conditions.

Earlier this week, DOF was also awarded charter contracts for the PSV Skandi Aukra and AHTS Skandi Iceman.
