U.S. weekly offshore rig count flat

Baker Hughes has posted Weekly Rig Count reports, with U.S. offshore rig count unchanged from the previous week.


BHI Rig Count: U.S. -1 to 568 rigs

U.S. Rig Count is down 1 rig from last week to 568, with oil rigs up 2 to 452, gas rigs down 2 to 115, and miscellaneous rigs down 1 to 1.

U.S. Rig Count is down 199 rigs from last year’s count of 767, with oil rigs down 122, gas rigs down 78, and miscellaneous rigs up 1.
The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is unchanged from last week at 21 and down 12 rigs year over year.

 

BHI Rig Count: Canada +22 to 176 rigs

 

Canadian Rig Count is up 22 rigs from last week to 176, with oil rigs up 13 to 89, gas rigs up 10 to 87, and miscellaneous rigs down 1 to 0.

Canadian Rig Count is unchanged from last year’s count of 176, with oil rigs up 21 and gas rigs down 21.
