Video: Construction & launching of ‘Ocean Dolphin’ SSV

Above is a video of construction and launching of the ‘Ocean Dolphin’ seismic support vessel. The vessel was launched at Cemre shipyard in Turkey in March this year.

Ocean Dolphin, designed by Salt, is the first of two seismic support vessels ordered by Norfield from Cemre.

The vessel is 69,8 meters long and 17 meters wide. It can accommodate a crew of 60 persons.

Following the outfitting, the Ocean Dolphin is expected to be handed over to its owners in mid-2015.

The vessel, the 36th Cemre has launched so far, will be operated by Vestland Offshore.
