Viking Supply Ships CEO on temporary leave

Viking Supply Ships, a supply shipping company based in Norway, has informed that its chief executive officer (CEO) is on temporary leave.

Due to family reasons, Christian W. Berg will take temporary leave from the position as CEO of Viking Supply Ships A/S, the shipping company said in an Oslo Stock Exchange filing on Friday.

The company added that Berg would remain CEO of the parent company Viking Supply Ships AB, but to reduce his workload, Tord Ytterdahl will temporarily take over the responsibilities as CEO of Viking Supply Ships A/S.

Berg was appointed to a position of the CEO of Viking Supply Ships AB in April 2015.

Ytterdahl joined the company in 2005 and is currently Managing Director of Viking Ice Consultancy, and has previously been Chief Commercial Officer of Viking Supply Ships A/S.
