Wintershall Amol Well First to Be Drilled (Norway)

Bridge Energy, an oil and gas exploration and production company, has announced an update on the current exploration drilling campaign in the Wintershall-operated PL 457, covering wells targeting the Amol and the Asha East prospects.

Further to the announcement on 14 August 2013, the Company now advises that the operator has changed the order of drilling, with results from the Amol well now expected first. Both wells, located in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea, will be drilled by the semi-submersible rig Borgland Dolphin.

Bridge has a 20% interest in the wells. Wintershall is the operator with 40%, with the other partners VNG (20%) and E.ON (20%).
