On June 22, 2015, Woodside and the other Browse Joint Venture participants also executed the Browse FLNG Development Domestic Gas and Supply Chain Key Principles Agreement (KPA) with the State of Western Australia. The KPA sets out the Browse Joint Venture participants’ commitment to negotiate a Development Agreement with the State reflecting agreed principles for the application of the State’s Domestic Gas Reservation Policy and the establishment of a Western Australian anchored supply chain to support the proposed development.

The principles outline that the Browse Joint Venture participants will reserve for domestic use within Western Australia gas equivalent to 15% of LNG production from the State’s estimated 65% share of the Torosa field. In relation to the supply chain for the proposed development, the Browse Joint Venture will seek to leverage off existing and emerging infrastructure and services where available to support an efficient and cost effective supply chain.

The Browse Joint Venture participants are Woodside Browse Pty Ltd (operator), Shell Australia Pty Ltd, BP Developments Australia Pty Ltd, Japan Australia LNG (MIMI Browse) Pty Ltd and PetroChina International Investment (Australia) Pty Ltd.
